THE CADET CREED
I am an Army Junior ROTC Cadet.
I will always conduct myself to bring credit to my family, country, school and the Corps of Cadets.
I am loyal and patriotic.
I am the future of the United States of America.
I do not lie, cheat or steal and will always be accountable for my actions and deeds.
I will always practice good citizenship and patriotism.
I will work hard to improve my mind and strengthen my body.
I will seek the mantle of leadership and stand prepared to uphold the Constitution and the American way of life.
May God grant me the strength to always live by this creed.
RANKS
These are the Army JROTC Cadet ranks. You earn earn these ranks through out your years in jrotc. You can get a rank by being in a certain position. You can get a certain position by showing your leadership skills to MSG or Chief. You become very proud of yourself as you are promoted throughout your years. Maybe you well end up becoming the Battalion commander who is a Cadet Lieutenant Colonel which is the highest rank in our program.
Battalion Commander: Cdt/LTC
Battalion XO: Cdt/MAJ
Battalion Command Sergeant Major: Cdt/CSM
Staff S1-S6: Cdt/CPT or Cdt/1LT

BADGES AND DEVICES
How to get:
Shoulder Cords- Color Guard (White): Go to four Color Guard event
Drill Team (Red): Go to two drill competitions and continue to actively go to drill practices
Marksmanship (Tan): Be the top ten shooters in qualification and attend all the practices
Raiders (Black): Go to one competitions and attend all the practices.
Command Group (Blue): Consists of the BN CN, XO, CMD, SGM, S 1-6 positions on a yearly basis
National Honors Society (Gold): Be a member of NHS
Exhibition (Orange): Be a member of the drill team and attend one event with exhibition.
Arc Pins- Honor Roll: Must be on the CHS honor roll verified with guidance
Drill Team: Second year, participate in at least 3 meets
Color guard: Second year, 6 color guard events
Raiders: Second year, participate in at least 2 events
Honor Guard: Competition Color guard, second year, participate in 3 meets
JCLC: Attend and complete JCLC
Rifle Team: Second year
Exhibition: Second year
